MVP coordinates payroll tax deposits and prepares quarterly and annual employment tax filings for the accounts in your service agreement.

Review employee and contractor information with MVP before W-2s and applicable 1099s are prepared.

Mark both paydays. Include the pay period for each and the date your hours will be ready.
Gather payroll history. If you’ve paid anyone this year, request year-to-date and quarter-to-date registers by employee. For a mid-quarter switch, include each pay date in the open quarter.
Match filings to payments. Gather copies of filed payroll returns, deposit confirmations, and any tax funds the former provider still holds.
Carry forward employee balances. Review PTO, deductions, and garnishment balances as of the last payroll. Use the secure channel Tyler provides for records.
Confirm who files what. Agree in writing who will make pending deposits and file open quarterly returns and year-end forms. Download your records before portal access ends.
